Frontier Boys Trip 7 | Las Vegas, Nevada

An accessible and democratized art space for all...in Las Vegas?!?

I love Las Vegas. And since flying Los Angeles to Vegas with Frontier’s GoWild Pass is faster than a trip to the grocery store in LA, why not?

So, I’m back. This time to check out the Art Factory in the city’s infamous art’s district.

When you read up on the Art Factory it legit makes no sense. A giant warehouse miles off the strip full of galleries, studios, and tattoo shops run by local artists and open to the public.

But, when you walk through, the chaos of it all blends together from room to room as if it’s one continuous creative maze. Paintings, murals, and sculptures fill the never ending halls.

Artists even leave their studio doors open during the day for visitors to come check out their work — an experience typically reserved for close friends and collectors.

Vegas is usually connected with excess; mega hotels, rampant gambling, and wild nightlife. But, the Art Factory’s beauty lies in its simplicity — it’s just a place for creatives to be creative…And perhaps the best way for visitors to get a taste of the local Vegas art scene.

Cheers.

Blake, a Frontier Boy

Maybe more of the art world should be like Vegas’ Art Factory - democratized, inclusive, and open to all.

Just a thought.

Oh, and after Vegas Blake hopped on a plane to meet up with the team in Peru. For what? You’ll see in a few weeks.

That’s it from us for now. Talk from the road.
